LQ VS PZ MATCH PREDICTION & ANALYSIS
The PSL Eliminator is going to be played between the Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. In some ways, it is a match between the old-guard of the PSL and the teams looking to make a change. It is great for the tournament that teams are competing closer than ever before with each other.
The Lahore Qalandars are perhaps the one team everyone wants to avoid because of their dangerous bowling attack. The Quetta Gladiators, however, not be taken lightly either. The PSL group stage was months ago and any momentum the teams would have built is long gone.
In addition, there are a number of changes that we have to take into account as well.
Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi PSL 2020 is going to be played at the National Stadium, Karachi on the 14th of November 2020.
TEAM PREVIEWS
LAHORE QALANDARS
No one gave the Lahore Qalandars a chance in the PSL before the tournament began and even the few supporters seemed to have deserted them as they lost four out of their first five matches. Since then, though, a remarkable turnaround led by Ben Dunk, Chris Lynn, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Afridi has put the Lahore Qalandars in a perfect position to reach the PSL final for the first time.
Could we wrap up 2020 with Lahore Qalandars as the team to win the PSL? It would be fitting!
There is no doubt that the Lahore Qalandars have an excellent bowling attack. Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi are the first-choice fast bowlers for Pakistan right now.
They have Usman Shinwari and Mohammad Hafeez in there as well to give the bowling some good depth.
The batting is going to be led by Ben Dunk, who has managed to make it over the playoffs. The absence of Chris Lynn is a big loss but Tamim Iqbal could make an impact as his replacement as well.
Fakhar Zaman has not scored too many runs in international cricket and Sohail Akhtar has been deprived of quality match practise which puts a big question mark on the batting. The pressure on Mohammad Hafeez to lead from the front is going to be immense.
